Create an Offline Contact QR Code
An offline contact QR stores a vCard record directly inside the pattern. A compatible scanning application can offer to save the supplied contact without opening a hosted business card page.
Enter the contact fields
Choose Offline contact in QR Studio. Enter the name, company, phone, email and website fields that you want to share. Use an international phone number and check the spelling of the email address. Only include details intended for the people receiving the code.
Keep the record concise
Adding more text makes the QR pattern denser. Use the fields your audience needs and leave unrelated information out. A vCard QR is a contact record; it does not display an uploaded business card image or a branded page.
Test saving the contact
Scan the PNG or a printed sample with different phones. Check that the application recognizes the vCard and that the saved name, phone and email are correct. Contact import behavior varies between scanning applications. Keep the clear margin around the pattern.
Understand updates and internet access
The embedded record does not change after printing. Generate a new QR if a contact field changes. Reading the stored record does not depend on this platform page, but opening a website or starting a conversation needs the relevant connection. Choose a hosted digital card when you need to edit the same public page later.
