QR & Digital Business Card FAQ

Answers about the tools available in this workspace.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

A static QR stores its content directly in the code. A dynamic QR stores a platform link whose destination can be edited after printing. Dynamic QR codes need the domain, hosting and saved record to stay active.

Can I upload an existing business card image?

Yes. In the digital business card editor, upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 2 MB, with a maximum dimension of 6000 pixels. After saving, the image appears above the clickable contact details.

Does the person scanning my business card need an account?

No. Visitors can open the public card, use the phone, WhatsApp and email links, and download a vCard without registering. Creators need an account to save and manage their cards.

Which QR download formats are available?

The studio exports PNG and SVG. PNG is useful for screens; SVG scales for print. Keep a clear margin, choose dark modules on a light background, and test the final printed size with a phone before distribution.

Do PDF, menu, payment and ticket QR tools host or process those services?

These tools currently link to an existing file, menu, payment page or ticket URL. File hosting, menu and form builders, and ticket validation are not yet enabled on this platform.

Will a printed dynamic QR keep working after a domain move?

Only if its old URL remains available or redirects to the matching new URL. Preserve the old domain, HTTPS, path and query parameters for as long as the printed material is in use. Changing the canonical domain does not rewrite a printed QR.
